The Shot Heard ‘Round the Region

When my daughter returned home from Friday night’s WCHS v New Bern boys basketball game, she was excited.

“Daddy,” she said. “You would not believe how West won tonight.”

What I didn’t believe was how my uber-cool 13-year-old was so fired up about a basketball game! But, see for yourself –
