Middle School Update, Nov. 7
November 6, 2007 at 6:38 am | In Middle | No CommentsSeasons blend together in the spinning wheel that is middle school athletics in Carteret County. As a refresher, we have completed football and girls soccer. Volleyball is about midway through. Boys soccer is now out of the starting gate.
Here’s a rundown:
- Football Champions: Pamlico
- Girls Soccer Champions: Morehead Middle
It’s too early too tell with volleyball as most of these girls are just learning the sport. The second half of the season is often when the story is told in middle school volleyball. Right now, Pamlico and Broad Creek are neck-and-neck at the top. Morehead Middle is close behind. Newport Middle and Beaufort Middle are still in striking distance.
Boys soccer is out of the gate and the 1Carteret reporting team is scrambling to –
A. Ensure we have up the correct schedule
B. Get some scores posted.
